Light a Candle
Sharon Kay Chevalier (Simbro) was born in Glenwood Missouri on May 25th 1943 to Russel and Billye Simbro. The second in four children she had one sister Carol Rae, and two brothers Billy Dale, and Dwight. She grew up in Glenwood Missouri and went to Lancaster Highschool where she graduated in 1961. She went to what is now known as Tuman State University where she graduated with a degree in education. She also met her husband Francis Chevalier while attending the university who she married in 1967. They made their home in Collinsville Oklahoma where Francis preceeded her in death in September 1986. They had five children. Three boy's: Russel (Rusty), William (Billy), and Robert (Bobby) and two girl's: Kelly and Ashley. There are also nine grandchildren to date. Rusty has three children, Kendal, Megan, and Alex. Billy has two daughters Stacye and Logan. And Bobby has four children, Brandon, Colby, Breanna, and Cayly.
Sharon passed away on June 15th 1995 from breast cancer. She was 52 at the time of her death.
